Memorial Day day trip

 Happy Memorial Day! We thank those that have fought and are fighting for our freedom! God bless you! 

Last night we celebrated with our neighbors and had a block party... so much fun!!! 

Today we decided to take a little trip in the mountains and check out some roads we had never been on. Started out by going to Poso Flat and took a dirt road from there out. We went to quite a few places and saw lots of snakes! We saw Gopher snakes and one Side winder.

We came out at Shirley Meadows... so we stopped by the Drakes cabin and said hi to grandma and grandpa :) such a good little 5 hr trip! We can't wait to go back and explore more roads we saw that we want to take next time!

Open House

First we visited Matthews classroom to see what all the neat things he's done the past few months. Here he is with his Mt. Whitney Project :) There were some pretty awesome projects !!! Gave me ideas for the future with Luke

His Hero is his daddy :) Love it!!! Im surprised the teacher hasn't figured out after an entire year that Matt's name is with two t's not one :) lol! But anywho... Matthew wrote some really sweet things about why his daddy is his hero :)

I can't believe in 2 weeks school is over! It's flown by way too fast! Luke will graduate Kindergarten and Matt will be in his last year of Elementary! Noooooooo!!! Im not ready!

Top Dog Award

 Matthew received Top Dog Award for 4th Quarter in his class!! So proud of him!!! 

His teacher was gone that day coaching a high school volleyball team that made it through the CIF's and on to another state championship!! Pretty good team if you ask me! So another 4th grade teacher handed out the class awards.
