Red Carpet Birthday Party

Our friend Mandi threw her hubby Darin a 35th birthday party. It's theme was Hollywood Red Carpet/ Celebrity or Celebrity Couple! It was a blast!!! Darin and Mandi went as Jessie James and Kat Von D! they hired professional photographers to dress as papparazzi! Great idea right?? So cool! Since Justin had to work... I rode with my friends Scott and Michelle! Here we are dressed up! Michelle as Lady Gaga. Scott as Dog the Bounty Hunter. And me as Cher! Missed my Sonny :(

But that's ok .. my sugar daddy was making me some moola :) heehee! I sure did miss him though!

Great party and a great time! After words we went to Ihop! Cher, Lady Gaga, Marylin Monroe, Hugh Hefner all together at Ihop.. talk about hilarious!

Fun @ Auntie Dianes

The kids and I went on a lil mini vacation to Aunt Dianes and Unlce Joes for a couple of days! We had sooo much fun! Aunt Lori and Caleb came and Jodi and her 4 kiddos Ricky, Malia, Lilly and Jackson!

Thank you Diane for inviting us over and having a great time making wonderful, fond memories. Reminded me so much of when we were kiddos and us cousins playing. Where has the time gone? :( In  a way memories make me sad. Be sure to cherish the moments you have with one another. You never know when you're going to get another chance to see them ♥

Our Brave Boy

Luke had a little accident this morning. He hit his chin on the kitchen counter. He didn't even cry. I was in the shower when it apparently happened. When i came out.. i see him holding a kleenex to his chin. He never said a word to me. I asked him what he was doing but he just looked at me and continued walking to the play room So i thought nothing of it. Then a little bit later he comes back out with Matthew and Matt says "I sure do feel sorry for Luke" I asked why and he says " Cuz he cut his chin open" I was like what?? So i asked Luke to see his owie and it was really bloody. But we cleaned it up and I told Justin i think he needs stitches. Luke never cried once. He just thought he had a scratch and it was bleeding :) Hes my strong little man! Never whines about things at all when he hurts himself.

 My brave boy didn't cry once. He wimpered here and there and was not very happy. But he stood still and the doc was very pleased with how well behaved he was :) Such a good boy.

 All done! He's very happy. Daddy went and got him a happy meal and that made his day !!

This is our first big woops for our family. Keeping fingers crossed it stays that way! 

Independence DaY

 Our friends the O'Briens were kind enough to invite us over to their house for a 4th of July bbq! We had a great time! Yummy margaritas and daquiri's. Ed was a pro at bbqing hamburgers and hotdogs :)

Lukes Kitty Kats

In the morning Luke loves to get on his and Matthew's computer and play a Kitty Kat game. We were wondering how he learned to spell the names he chose. (We just assumed Matthew was doing it for him) This morning I see him go into his room and come out with a book. His Shark book. So i come in the room and I see he opens the page to the shark he wants to name his kitty and sees what it says and so he spells it from the book! Ha! Smarty pants! He can't read but he can sound out words. He memorizes what he each sharks name is and so he knows to choose which one he wants to name the kitty after! haha! Cracks me up! So he has like 20 different kitties and each one has a shark name! hahaha! I love my intelligent little man :)
