Top Dog Award

 Luke received a Top Dog Award today for Academic Achievement in Language Arts! So proud of him! He got a Bimat Bulldog dog tag! He can wear it every Friday for school spirit :)

So cute! All proud of himself :) silly kiddo! Surprised him later with a Happy Meal for doing such a great job in school! 

Christmas Crafts

Got a lil crafty this year and made some fun things i had around the house. I am totally addicted to the website www.pinterest.com !! Where i got my craft ideas from!

Here I took a picture frame i had. Aunt Annette gave this frame to us as a wedding gift. It had no backing. So i saw the idea from the website and thought what a cute way to use it! Glad i saved it! Bought Ribbon at Michaels for 2$ and the little plastic ornaments for a dollar each at Michaels also. And wala! A cute home made Ornament! i love it ! I can't get myself to hang it outside though because i don't want anything happening to the frame. Means too much to me.

Another fun idea from the pinterest website is this snowman. However the lady that I got the idea from used wood blocks and painted them. I just grabbed whatever boxes i had in closets that i realized were just taking up space... so i wrapped them in white construction paper and cut out the nose with orange construction paper. Then drew the eyes with permanent marker. Black Scarf with old bday party ribbon i had saved. I didn't realize that the stuff i consider junk can actually be put to good use! :) I've made more stuff.. and wish i could say these creations were my idea.. but no.. I don't have that knack to come up with stuff. heehee!

Gettin some Wood

We took a day trip to the mountains to collect some wood for our little fires we enjoy having in the backyard. Love the Fall colors ! So gorgeous! We love nature!

We came upon millions of lady bugs on the side of the road. This is just some of them. They were ALL over! it was AmaZinG!!!! I don't know if it's mating season or what. But it was unreal! I've never seen anything like it before.

Could you imagine looking outside your window and seeing all these in your backyard? So cool! 

Lots of deer too. This deer looks hurt doesn't it? not sure what is wrong with it or if its just the coloring of its coat.

Matt dumped out his candy on the floor and Tebow immediatly went to check it out. He would grab a piece and dart off running and the boys would chase him. He would return to try and steal more candy ! hahahha! hilarious!

We had a really good evening walking with our friends and their kiddos. Love our neighborhood. I hope every one had an enjoyable and safe night as well :)
