Mammoth Lakes

Our Annual Summer Vacation with mom n dad in Mammoth Lakes, Ca. !! Our favorite place on earth!
We did a lil hike above Horseshoe lake. Not sure what the trail was called but it was to Lake Mcleod. (Recognize the name? Ansel Adams was a painter)

Check these roots out!!! Pretty amazing!

This was the first time we've come here during the 4th of July week. Mammoth had a parade! Sooo many people! This was just to the North End of it! I couldn't get a good view of the South end. Too many people in my way. But there was waaaaay more than this on the south end.

Took mom and dad to an awesome restaurant in Eagles Landing. Eagles Landing is a few miles behind June Lake. Speaking of June Lake... sad news, I guess they shut down June Mountain ski resort.

Minaret Vista Look out. Minaret Mountains waaay back there :)

the Fam Damily at Lake Crawly. I would say a few thousand people were there to watch. The Company that did the fireworks do Macy's Parade every year and the Olympics. Pretty sure the Olympics when in the US. They had a band that played pretty decent  music and a bbq. Kids got to sit in a Fire truck and check out an Ambulance.

Our Spot

fishing at Owens River

Justin caught two fish in this spot. After that it got terribly windy and when he would cast his line out the wind would blow it on land. LOL! it got frustrating so we left. But we had some yummy fish cooked by Papa Vince :)

Checking out the Fish Hatchery. These were the big fish! Can't really tell from the photo but these guys were ginormous!

you can feed the fish... its a serious fish frenzy!

Matt LOOVES to do the zip line at Mammoth Mountain! Hopefully one day Luke will realize its not scary and try it :)

At the Village... they had a bunch of kid stuff going on. Like Rubber ducky races.. clowns making kids animal balloons and face paintings.. games, crafts. Tons of neat stuff! Boys made USA bracelets :)

We hate leaving this gorgeous place. There is so much to do! So relaxing to be in the mountains. Looking forward to next year!! :)

Lukes Stitches

Luke's 2nd time getting stitches. We were walking out of the mall and he was twirling and didn't pay attention to where he was walking and whacked his face into a cement pole. Was hoping the doc would just super glue it but he said it was too deep of a cut. Luke was super upset. He knew what was coming.  Much harder to get him to hold still this time around for the shot to be numbed. He fought us big time.

bruising a couple of days later. Its a nice clean scar now. Can hardly see it. Doc did a good job.
