Baptism

Justin was baptized today :) Congrats Justin! So proud of you sweety!

Pastor Daniel. Not our usual pastor... but he does the baptisms. Very nice man. And little Annie. Her mom works at the jail and Justin knows her. Annie was really nervous, so Justin told her to get baptized with him :) She sure is a cutie. She's 10 yrs old :)

Annie getting baptized and her mom on the other side taking photos :)

Congrats to Justin and Annie on getting baptized!!Took photos with my phone. They normally have a lady take photos but she wasn't there today. So not the best quality.

Awanas

Crazy Hair night @ Awanas. Boys first year trying Awanas. I remember doing Awanas as a little girl. They now have a mix of boys and girls in the younger grades and separate for 3rd thru 6th. Luke is in the 1st grade class called Sparkies. He is super excited. Its their 3rd night tonight and they were signed off for getting their books and shirts or vests. They earn badges through out the year for memorizing scripture. Awanas is a Bible Centered, youth-oriented program. They play games and do crafts and then learn about God and study Bible verses. I am soo happy the boys love going.

Matt is in the 5th and 6th grade boys Truth and Training Challenge program. I love listening to what he learned. He is so excited to tell me all about it! Makes me so happy and proud :)

Trail of A Hundred Giants

Spent a beautiful Saturday in the Mountains
Stopped at Holey Mow Campground for lunch. There is a beautiful Meadow there.

This silly squirrel was cracking us up! They dropped the pine cones from the top of the tree and it sounded like a rock falling to the ground. You couldn't stand under a tree because they were falling all over!

Matt brought his Hummer remote control car and the squirrel wasn't afraid of it. He was guarding his pine cone! It was hilarious! Brave little guy.

Made it to Trail of a Hundred Giants. I went here as a little girl but I don't remember it. I absolutely LOVE discovering Gods creations. It's astounding to me.

Can walk on two that fell.

The root!! See how tiny they are on top of it!

Inside

Such a beautiful walk seeing these Giant trees! Beautiful and amazing. Oh and if you plan on visiting.. you know the good ole government will try and rape you.. so plan on paying to just park for your visit. It's 5 or 10 dollars i believe. We were bad and didn't pay. Didn't have cash!!! So we walked very fast through these trees incase a BLM dude would see that we didn't have our ticket that we paid ! hee hee!! I love our nature days :)
In case you are wondering where this is.. its just a couple miles above Johnsondale which is above Kernville. We came the back way up.. a long winding road.. but well worth the drive :) lots of beauty to be seen!!
